The maps displayed in the application do not constitute official nautical charts. These are simplified maps for illustration and weather routing purposes. These maps do not take into account nautical hazards, underwater obstacles, rocks, shoals, or any other critical navigation information. It is your sole responsibility to verify that the proposed route does not cross dangerous areas, including rocks or restricted navigation zones. SailRouting cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from the use of these simplified maps. You must always have official and up-to-date nautical charts when going to sea.
The weather data provided is for informational purposes only. SailRouting cannot be held responsible for navigation decisions made based on this information. It is your responsibility to verify weather conditions before going to sea and to consult multiple weather data sources.
Routing calculations are estimates based on weather models and theoretical performance of your boat. Actual conditions may vary significantly. The proposed routing should be used as a navigation aid and not as the sole source of decision-making. Suggested routes may include dangerous or shallow areas that you must verify.
You are solely responsible for your safety at sea and the planning of your navigation. SailRouting cannot be held responsible for damages, losses, or accidents resulting from the use of the application. Compliance with local and international navigation regulations is your responsibility. You must always verify suggested routes using official nautical charts and your own judgment before going to sea.
SailRouting is provided 'as is' without any warranty regarding the accuracy or suitability of the suggested routes. We disclaim all liability for material or immaterial damages resulting from the use of the application, misinterpretation of displayed data, or accidents occurring during navigation based on our suggestions. Users acknowledge that they cannot fully rely on SailRouting to make navigation decisions.
Your personal data is protected and used only for the operation of the service. We collect your email address for account management, your boat preferences for routing calculations, and your routing history. You can view, modify, or delete your account and data at any time from your personal space. Your data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
SailRouting is a web and mobile application designed to help sailors plan their maritime routes using weather data (wind and currents) and their boat's performance. The service offers two plans: a free Basic plan with limitations, and a paid Premium plan providing access to all features without restrictions.
SailRouting is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Unauthorized activities such as data extraction, redistribution, illegal use, or automation through programmed requests are strictly prohibited. Any misuse of the service, including automated queries, may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.
We reserve the right to modify, improve, or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons. During periods of high demand, routing may be temporarily unavailable for Basic users, as they do not have priority on the servers. We strive to maintain 24/7 service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
SailRouting offers a Premium monthly subscription, automatically billed via Stripe (for web subscriptions) or via the App Store / Google Play (for mobile subscriptions). By subscribing to the Premium plan, you agree to automatic monthly billing on the subscription anniversary date. Payments are securely processed by our payment partners. The subscription remains active until canceled.
The subscription is automatically renewed each month until you decide to cancel it. You can cancel your subscription at any time: from your personal space on sailrouting.com for web subscriptions, or from iOS/Android subscription settings for mobile subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you retain access to Premium services until that date.
No refunds are possible once a payment has been made. In case of cancellation, you retain access until the end of the paid period, but no refunds (full or partial) will be granted. Refunds for mobile subscriptions are subject to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies.
SailRouting reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of non-compliance with the Terms of Service, attempted fraud, abuse of the service, or payment issues. In case of payment failure, Premium access may be suspended until payment is resolved.
All content, logos, graphics, and source code on SailRouting are the exclusive property of Emeraude Dev. Any reproduction, representation, modification, or unauthorized use is strictly prohibited and may be subject to prosecution.
These terms of service are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after seeking an amicable solution, French courts will have sole jurisdiction to hear such disputes.
SailRouting reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Users will be informed of significant modifications by email. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
